We offer self-service Bed and Breakfast or Guest House accommodation on the top floor of our family home at "The Sands" on Broughty Ferry Esplanade. The flat is let as a unit and comprises two bedrooms, with exclusive use of an adjoining small but well equipped kitchen and a WC/shower-room. We can accommodate from one to four people in the flat. Both rooms have TVs and panoramic views over Broughty Ferry Beach and the Firth of Tay. The kitchen has a freezer, well stocked fridge, electric cooker and oven, microwave oven, sink and is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery etc. All linen, towels and toiletries are included. Let us know if you have a special diet or breakfast preferences when you book. Broadband internet access available on request. |

The Scottish dolphins are the biggest bottle-nosed dolphins in the world. MVS Tay runs Badger trips throughout the summer from Broughty Ferry to
enable members of the public to see dolphins. |

There are many lovely walks in and around Broughty Ferry. Just along the road from the house are the beautiful rock gardens with water features. Guests often enjoy picnics there, entry is free and there are seats and picnic tables. Close by there is a wild nature garden. Visitors can enjoy seaside walks all the way to Monifieth, Barry and Carnoustie.

A sandy beach nestles beneath the historic late 15th century castle in the former fishing village of Broughty Ferry. Broughty Ferry castle is now a museum and well worth visiting. Broughty Ferry beach is backed by dunes and has views across the Tay to Tentsmuir forest in Fife. In the summer, windbreaks are for hire and volleyball nets are erected. A safe area is marked out for swimming. There are an extensive range of facilities in the area. |
